It’s interesting that all these hardcore evolutionist are not coming to the defense of Watson and the study by Charles Murray which according to him indicate that blacks are less intelligent than whites. Is this evolutions dark little secret? No pun intended. I mean forget about sensibilities. Isn’t science supposed to let the chips fall were they may in spite of hurt feelings? Come on Darwinist! defend him and Charles Murray study on Black inferiority. Its all for science, remember?

In a book about DNA recently the author stated that there is no such thing as “race” in DNA. If I recall correctly he said there is more variance in DNA due to blood type than there is “race”.
Intellectual differences between races is a matter of culture and geography, it is not predestined by DNA.

He said he hoped that everyone was equal, but countered that “people who have to deal with black employees find this not true”.
He claimed genes responsible for creating differences in human intelligence could be found within a decade.
He includes his views in a new book, published recently, in which he writes that “there is no firm reason to anticipate that the intellectual capacities of peoples geographically separated in their evolution should prove to have evolved identically”.

So Chinese people are more intelligent than Europeans and there is nothing I can do about it?
If that is the case then how do you explain the fact that Indians get the highest exam scores in the UK, even though they share the same DNA with Pakistannis?

Great questions, but they also do well in the US and elsewhere even into the 2nd and 3rd generations with completely different culture pressures. We may also be confusing sophistication for intelligent. There are prisoners in jails such as Mexicans, Blacks and other minorities that can build things and put together things that would blow your mind. Breaking out of prison takes a great deal of sophistication. Our conjecture is really besides the point which is the fact that this proposition …..

He believes that a hypothetical gene will be discovered in less than ten years confirming his belief that blacks are in his own words, less evolved. It depends on opportunity and attitude. In poor areas in the UK people score lower (regardless of colour) because their parents don’t give a damn about education.

I see that you distinguish Chinese and Europeans to make a point, but if I use the same standard, blacks are just people. Very interesting. If you got robbed by a Black person and the cop asked you, what did he look like? it would be a riot to hear you give a politically correct description of assailant. I used Chinese people because I am aware of a statistic regarding education, I am also aware of a statistic regarding the education of black people.
I just made a different point. With education it is nurture, not nature.
Otherwise NO black people would be capable of higher education, and that quite simply is not the case, is it?

Why is it so hard to answer a simple question? Do you believe Watson’s proposition of genetic inferiority and a less evolved black population. These are his words. He also said the gene will be discovered in the next ten years confirming this.

I’ve answered clearly. Even IF such a gene exists it would only make it more effort to learn.
I refuse to believe that a black person CANNOT be as intelligent as me, and I refuse to believe that I cannot be as intelligent as a Chinese person.
Most educational differences are cultural. Explain why Indians typically outscore the Pakistanis at my kids school? Pakistan was only politically divided in 1947.
I am white, but I have met black people who understand stuff I simply cannot fathom.

@benthemiester Blacks are less evolved wow! Blacks founded most of the knowledge the western world stands on. Maybe you havent heard but the egyptian culture was black! Africans built the pyramids look at all of the invintions in the last 100 yrs it may surprise you to know that many of them was invented by blacks seriously you may want to do a little reaserch into this so you dont have to be out of touch with reality!

Why get mad at me? I don’t believe in that bullshit. I am just saying what James Watson has said in 2007 regarding his evolutionary reasoning concerning blacks. My position is that it is false, and with out merit. This is a part of evolutionary theory that people don’t want to talk about because it is politically incorrect. That was the point of my original thread. This is one of the many many reasons I think the theory is lacking an empirical foundation.
